Zenith Trans-Oceanic Royal 3000-1 multiband radio, first introduced around 1962.
Bands: It is a multiband receiver featuring FM, AM, and Shortwave (SW) capabilities.
Features: It includes a detachable "WaveMagnet" antenna, although in this model it was integrated into the handle assembly.
Significance: Known as one of the first Zenith Trans-Oceanics to include FM functionality, it cost $275 upon release
Significance: Highly collectible for its audio performance and classic 1950s design. Vintage Electronics Grandparents , grandfather owned a radio/Tv Appliance store way back when, told me this was top of the line! didnt know family still had it, plugged it in & it still works! my dad told me they had the first TV in town, on a weekend they would have crowds of people from all over come over just to see the wonder! Whole different world back then..
always intrigued by the old electronics have a ton of old tools, books , tubes , testers etc... had no idea my aunt saved all this stuff!!! thought it was gone decades ago!! will be listing as we can! have some other transoceanic radios also!
