This item is an assembled vintage HO scale wood craftsman model railroad kit of a Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Standard Eight Wheel Wood Sheathed Caboose. It was manufactured by the historic Pacific HO Company / The Silver Streak Line out of Los Angeles, California as part of their Kit #SS104 series.
- Road Name & Livery: Finished in traditional B&O caboose red, featuring the white "Linking 13 Great States" Baltimore & Ohio corporate crest alongside road number C190 printed clearly on the sides.
- Design Features: Built from a premium mid-century multimedia craftsman kit, the model features a real scribed-wood sheathed body panel texture, a raised center cupola window cabin section, scale metal end railings/ladders, and a weighted underframe chassis. It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches long (excluding couplers).
- Assembly Status: This model has been fully built and assembled from its original raw components. It is equipped with upgraded bright brass wheel treads and standard horn-hook couplers, making it ready to slide onto an operational model track.
- Packaging: Accompanied by its original retro silver-faced cardboard box lid bearing the classic print: "De Luxe Kit - Standard Eight Wheel Wood Sheathed Caboose - Price $3.50 - The Silver Streak Line."
