Up for sale is a classic, vintage machinist’s toolpost indicator holder and surface gauge attachment assembly. This ruggedly built set is perfect for machinists, toolmakers, or collectors looking to complete an antique inspection layout kit. It features a heavy-duty C-clamp mount with an integrated V-groove jaw designed to secure firmly to both flat surfaces and rounded machine shafts.
What’s Included & Specifications:
- Main Toolpost C-Clamp: Features an integrated mounting rod. Stamped with manufacturer markings "102" and "w". Measures approximately 5-1/2 inches in total length. Includes a built-in V-notch jaw for round stock clamping.
- Extension Rod Assembly: Long indicator extension arm measuring approximately 8 inches. Complete with its original knurled-screw fine adjustment swivel eyelet hardware at the tip.

Universal Swivel Snug: Small intersecting clamp sleeve adapter (currently frozen/rusted tight, see condition notes).

This is an authentic, vintage workshop find with a beautiful, natural dark patina. The main C-clamp threads turn smoothly and the extension rod eyelet hardware disassembles fully as shown. Please Note: The separate small universal swivel snug (pictured top-left) is currently rusted tight and frozen. It will require a penetrating oil soak (like Kroil or PB Blaster) or gentle heat by the buyer to break free.
