Description:
Up for sale is a fantastic two-bottle lot of vintage mid-century returnable soda bottles.
  • Bottle 1: 1950s Bottoms Up Beverages (8 oz)
    • Features a crisp, white Applied Color Label (ACL) reading "For PURE Refreshment!" with striking diagonal stripes and a neck logo.
    • Measures just under 8" tall with vertical grip fluting on the shoulder.
    • Embossed on the base with the circled "G" logo for the Glenshaw Glass Company (Glenshaw, PA).
  • Bottle 2: 1959 Canada Dry "Check Skirt" (10 oz)
    • Features a distinctive embossed basketweave/grid pattern on the lower half.
    • Retains its partial original red and white shield neck label.
    • Measures roughly 9.5" tall.
    • Date-coded base features the mold number "L-930A" and the classic anchor-in-circle logo for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., confirming it was manufactured in 1959 at Plant #7 in Salem, New Jersey.
Condition:
Both bottles are in great vintage condition with no major chips, cracks, or deep glass bruising. The glass is clear with minimal cloudiness. The Bottoms Up ACL graphic is vibrant and highly legible. Please review the photos for exact cosmetic condition.
