The underside of the mounting arm features crisp, original casting marks reading 804000-01B and model code M1927. This specific footprint was widely sold as a premium dealer-installed upgrade or direct replacement piece for late-1950s and 1960s GM platforms. This mirror is in solid, original vintage condition and presents very well. The chrome finish holds a strong, brilliant reflection on both the arm and the back of the mirror housing. There is no structural damage, deep gouges, or severe rust rot. Being a genuine vintage part it is in need of a good cleaning.
