Up for sale is a vintage HO Scale Alco RS-11 high-hood diesel locomotive manufactured by the famous Cold War-era toy company Mehanotehnika Izola in Yugoslavia. These durable European imports were highly popular fixtures across North America, often distributed by AHM or Model Power.
This unit is styled in the dark blue corporate livery of the Conrail (CR) network and carries road number 8416. It is an exceptional analog layout addition or restoration project for hobbyists who enjoy classic 1970s/1980s train sets.

Cosmetically, the corporate blue shell paint and white Conrail typography are completely legible and bold. The plastic side handrails show minor warping, which is normal for model trains of this vintage. Please Note: The rear horn-hook coupler is completely missing and will need a replacement part installed prior to pulling rolling stock. No original packaging box is included.
