Manufactured in Bristol, Connecticut, this vintage set is an excellent replacement for a loose watch in your collection or a fantastic display piece for horology enthusiasts and collectors of vintage advertising.Â
Item Condition & Details
- The Box: Features a classic mid-century striped pattern with bold red and black text stating, "The Watch with the Non-Breakable Crystal." The side panel clearly lists the model as Viceroy Radium / Chrome Finished Case. It shows typical vintage storage wear, including light edge scuffing, minor staining, and light pencil writing on the bottom interior of the base (see photos). The structure remains rigid and holds together well.
- The Paperwork: A beautifully preserved, multi-panel fold-out sheet containing the original Directions for Regulation / Setting / Winding, detailed Mailing Instructions, a "Dear Customer" letter, and a blank, untorn Watch Guarantee & Return Letter coupon. The paper shows minor fold lines but is crisp with bright text and an illustration of the American Plant in Bristol, Conn.
