Up for sale is a 3-car lot of vintage HO scale slot cars from two distinct eras of manufacturing. All three cars have been bench-tested, and all three motors work well and run smoothly.
Please note that these cars feature completely different chassis builds and timelines. Read the detailed breakdown below before bidding:
1. Vintage Late 1970s / Early 1980s Chaparral 2G Can-Am Racer
- Chassis Markings: Clearly stamped "Chaparral - Made in Hong Kong" on the base. This is a distinct, older generation chassis with classic wide pick-up wipers.
- Mechanical Condition: Motor runs strong.
- Chassis Defect: There is a broken rear axle fixture tab on the chassis frame. Crucially, the broken plastic piece is fully present and included (visible in the photos), making it an easy fix with epoxy or a plastic weld for an experienced hobbyist.
- Tires/Body: The rear tires have some bubbling texture due to age but are still present. The classic "Champion" sponsor graphics on the body are highly intact.
2. Vintage 1990s Lamborghini Countach 5000 & Ferrari Testarossa Pair
- Chassis Markings: Both bases are stamped with "C2" and "Made in China". These feature a uniform, newer chassis design entirely separate from the Chaparral.
- Mechanical Condition: Both C2 motors are tested and running well.
- Tires: Due to long-term storage, the rear tires on both cars have flat spots and will need replacing for optimal track racing. The front tires show minor cosmetic bubbling on the sidewalls.
- Body Condition: Expected minor cosmetic wear from age, but both supercar bodies are structurally solid with no cracks.
