Up for auction/sale is a fantastic vintage lot of 10 genuine HO-scale slot car bodies and replacement shell components from the 1960s and 1970s. Please note: This lot consists of BODIES ONLY. There are no running chassis, motors, tires, or pickup shoes included. These are perfect for restoration projects, custom painters, or builders looking to complete their vintage rolling chassis.
What is Included in This 10-Piece Lot:
- Aurora Cigar Box Metal Bodies (2): AMC AMX "Stars & Stripes" and a '57 Chevy "Koni/Flame" Gasser. Both feature their original heavy die-cast metal shells and internal plastic adapters.
- Tyco Pro / Can-Am Bodies (3): Chevy Camaro "Checkered" Funny Car, Chaparral 2G (white, missing its rear wing panel), and a Lola T-260 "Union Jack" (missing its rear spoiler panel).
- Aurora A/FX Shells & Component Parts (5): Dodge Custom Street Van (yellow with black roof rack,cracked body), Peterbilt Semi Truck Cab (red), UOP Shadow Can-Am (#101, missing rear wing), and a 2-piece yellow stunt/smash assembly (includes the main body shell and the base frame component).
Condition Details:
All 10 pieces are in vintage, played-with condition. Expect typical surface scuffs, paint chips, and minor play wear as seen in the photographs. Several of the Can-Am race cars are missing their fragile plastic rear spoiler/wing inserts. Screw posts and snap clips are mostly intact, making them excellent candidates for immediate chassis mounting or custom parts restoration.
