Vintage Ford Rust Inhibitor M-1068 & Smooth-On No 1 Tin Lot
For sale this lot features two vintage garage advertising tins full of mid-century automotive and hardware charm. Both are unopened! The first container is a rare, orange Genuine Ford Motor Company Rust and Corrosion Inhibitor (Model M-1068), originally manufactured as a cooling system additive in Dearborn, Michigan during the 1940s to 1950s. The second item is a mini "trial size" yellow Smooth-On No. 1 Iron Cement tin, a classic quick-setting compound used to stop leaks in radiators and stoves, produced by Smooth-On Manufacturing Co. out of Jersey City, New Jersey. Both tins showcase incredible aged patina, vibrant period graphics, and clear typography, making them exceptional additions for any petroliana display, man cave shelf, or historical industrial collection and are in amazing condition
