Vintage DuPont STIX-ON sponge rubber cushion strip, offered with its original cardboard box. Designed to help prevent rattles and squeaks, this period automotive-style rubber strip is a distinctive collectible for vintage car enthusiasts, restorers, and collectors of retro hardware and advertising packaging.
The sponge rubber strip appears unused, with age-related dust and dryness. The original yellow-and-black box has heavy wear, including tears, creases, damaged edges and corners, and a puncture or tear in the label. Includes the strip and box shown. A great addition to a vintage automotive parts collection or display.
