Description
This is a vintage Bachmann HO Scale 47' Flatcar with Logs, decorated for the Great Northern Railway (Road Number: 42764). Produced during the 1980s, this ready-to-run freight car is a classic piece of rolling stock from Bachmann's high-volume analog DC production era.
The model features an authentic robin-egg blue injection-molded plastic body shell with crisp white stenciled corporate road markings and structural specifications. It comes complete with its original structural black side stakes and a removable three-log timber cargo load bound together by factory clear tape bands.
- Condition: New in Box (NIB) / New Old Stock (NOS). Removed for pictures. Black Uprights are packed into box for shipping.
- Scale / Gauge: HO Scale (1:87).
- Mechanical Details: Equipped with traditional body-mounted horn-hook couplers and standard black plastic wheel trucks. The rolling stock is completely unused and sits safely nestled within its clear plastic internal blister tray liner.
- Packaging Details: Housed in its classic vintage white Bachmann cardboard window box featuring the iconic red and gold "Bachmann 5 HO Scale" circle emblem and stylized brown/red "Bachmann Electric Trains" logo block. The packaging card is physically intact with a clean cellophane window, showing only standard minor edge softening, a small torn area from a previous retail price sticker on the upper left border, and typical shelf-wear from storage.
