Vintage B-Line Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters & Monkey Link Repair Lot 1940s w Box
This unique lot of 1940's automotive winter emergency gear features two distinct items essential for classic cars navigating snow and ice. The first item is a partial box of No. 1 size Monkey Link Self-Closing Tire Chain Repair Links, manufactured by the Flower City Specialty Co. of Rochester, New York. Originally produced circa 1948, these heavy-duty metal links feature an ingenious design where the weight of the vehicle automatically closes the repair link upon the open ends of a broken cross-chain. The second item is a vintage box of B-Line Round Molded Rubber Type Tire Chain Adjusters, complete with a thick, heavy-duty molded rubber ring and a sealed inner package of heavy metal tensioning hooks. Together, these pieces serve as an authentic piece of mid-century automobilia and a perfect addition to a classic garage display, vintage oil and gas collection, or period-correct emergency kit. This combination of complementary tire chain accessories in their original vintage packaging makes it a rare find as a bundled automobilia lot. The box condition are both very good and is a piece of American History!
