Vintage 1986 Jim Beam 1956 Ford Thunderbird Decanter Blue PA Release w/ Box
For sale is a rare vintage 1986 Jim Beam Car Decanter (empty) modeled after the iconic 1956 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop. This genuine Regal China porcelain collectible was manufactured in the USA (Item No. HW-095). This specific piece features the highly desirable and limited-edition Peacock Blue color, which was exclusive to the Pennsylvania state release market. The decanter originally contained 100-month-old, 80-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey but is now completely empty.
The car comes with its original illustrated retail box, which displays normal vintage shelf wear. As shown in the photos, the porcelain body is in nice shape, though the side label shows some lifting/peeling at the corner. The vehicle features its removable hardtop, whitewall tires, and detailed chrome accents. Please note that the chrome front bumper assembly, rear bumper, continental spare tire kit, and undercarriage components have detached from the main body, which is common for these 30+ year old fragile glue joints. All pieces are present, making it an excellent restoration candidate or parts supply for a classic collector.
