Stamping & Authenticity Details:
- Outer Case Bottom: Stamped with the 1975 slash code (
\\\\ ZIPPO \\\). Made in Bradford, PA. - Inner Insert: Features a genuine 1999 Zippo Slim replacement mechanism stamped
E Xv(May 1999).
Condition Report:
- Exterior: The high polish chrome case shows honest pocket wear, fine scuffs, and surface scratches consistent with its age (see photos). No major dents or deep structural gouges.
- Hinge & Alignment: The hinge remains structurally sound. The lid snaps shut properly.
- Mechanics: The flint wheel has solid texturing and turns freely. The cam has good tension. Will require a fresh flint and lighter fluid to strike, as it is shipped completely empty per postal regulations.
