Up for sale is an authentic, completely original vintage 1971 Zippo Slim windproof pocket lighter in classic high polish chrome. This item is a wonderful collector's piece because it remains 100% factory original, featuring its period-correct early 70s internal mechanism.
Stamping & Authenticity Details:
  • Outer Case Bottom: Stamped with the authentic 1971 3-line code (|| ZIPPO |). Made in Bradford, PA.
  • Inner Insert: Period-correct authentic Zippo Slim steel insert with early-70s block text formatting and no modern date stamps.
Condition Report:
  • Exterior: The high polish chrome case shows an honest, uncleaned vintage patina with surface pocket scuffs and fine scratches consistent with age. Free of heavy deep gouges or structural dents.
