Vintage 1951 Frisco Railroad SL-SF 17774 Boxcar Matchbook Display Box Empty
Up for sale is a rare vintage 1951 St. Louis–San Francisco Railway (Frisco Line) promotional matchbook box. This empty cardboard container is designed to look like a realistic model freight boxcar and originally held a multi-pack collection of matching railroad matchbooks.
Features the iconic "Ship it on the Frisco!" slogan on the side along with official road number markings SL-SF 17774 (stamped "NEW 6-51"). Measures approximately 6.5 inches long.
Condition: Empty box only. Shows some honest vintage shelf wear, edge soft spots, and minor creasing as shown in pictures, but still holds its shape beautifully. Perfect for railroadiana, tobacciana, or vintage advertising collectors!
