Up for sale is an authentic, highly collectible vintage 1930s "The Match King" permanent match strike lighter. The bottom panel is clearly stamped with the classic corporate markings: "MATCH KING - CHICAGO, U.S.A. - PAT. PEND."

This pocket-sized Art Deco piece features an etched graphic on both faces depicting an adorable Terrier / Scottie dog sitting near a food bowl and bone. The original screw-in torch wand is present and unscrews smoothly from the top casing, retaining its original vintage wick tip intact.

Good vintage, pre-owned condition with an aged, natural patina.

- Exterior Body: Shows honest pocket wear, tarnish spots, and minor chrome loss consistent with a utility piece nearly 90 years old. The etched dog graphic remains well-defined.
- Striker Strip: The side-channel flint striker strip shows normal tracking wear from past use.
- Wand Assembly: The screw-cap wand assembly unscrews cleanly. The internal thread tracks are smooth. The metal striker wand tip has typical carbon tarnish and wick material is slightly frayed.
