Telefunken Opus 55/TS radio, a flagship vintage model produced in West Germany between 1954 and 1955.
Type: Vacuum tube tabletop radio.
Features: Equipped with six loudspeakers for "3D" sound and separated tuning controls for different bands.
Significance: Highly collectible for its audio performance and classic 1950s design. Vintage Electronics Grandparents , grandfather owned a radio/Tv Appliance store way back when, told me this was top of the line! didnt know family still had it, plugged it in & it still works! my dad told me they had the first TV in town, on a weekend they would have crowds of people from all over come over just to see the wonder! Whole different world back then..
always intrigued by the old electronics have a ton of old tools, books , tubes , testers etc... had no idea my aunt saved all this stuff!!! thought it was gone decades ago!! will be listing as we can!
