For sale is a vintage 1980 Lionel O/O27 Gauge Train Collectors Association (TCA) "Chicago" National Convention Observation Car (Catalog No. 6-9544) with its original box. This 12-wheel heavyweight passenger car features "Land of Lincoln" and "Chicago" lettering, road number 2356, a grey roof, brown/black body, frosted illuminated windows, and detailed gold-painted rear platform railings. 
Condition
  • Body/Paint: Clean overall cosmetic condition with no visible body shell cracks. However, please note there is distinct paint wear and aging/rubbing on the raised lettering of the stamped "Chicago" side panel.
  • Details: The yellow road numbering remains sharp and the gold-painted rear observation platform is fully intact.
  • Underside/Trucks: Clean chassis with intact wiring. The 6-wheel die-cast metal trucks show minimal wear and function smoothly.
  • Box: Original Lionel white window box is included. The box shows vintage shelf wear, corner softening, and minor edge scuffing, but the clear window plastic is intact.
