Up for sale is a sharp, vintage 3-unit HO scale F7 diesel locomotive A-B-A consist in the classic Northern Pacific black, yellow, and red stripe livery.
This is a premium hybrid enthusiast set featuring a highly reliable Kato powered mechanism flanked by two heavy Athearn F7 dummy units:
Center F7B Unit: Powered by a premium, smooth-running Kato (Made in Japan) motor chassis. It has been bench-tested and runs great.
Front & Rear F7A Units (#6015A & #6011D): Non-powered dummy units sitting on heavy, classic Athearn (42005) die-cast metal chassis frames.
Condition Details: Like New NO BOX
Mechanical: The center B-unit motor runs flawlessly. Both A-units roll smoothly.
Cosmetic: All three body shells are in good vintage shape with crisp, clean "Radio Equipped" and "Main Street of the Northwest" lettering.
Note for Buyer: The units currently need couplers installed to lock the full consist together on your layout.
