Harley Softail Heritage Deluxe Style Rear Fender Vivid Black OEM FLST 2000-2017.
This item is used, please look at pictures for condition.
It is a deeply valanced, classic full-coverage "FL" style fender engineered exclusively for Harley-Davidson Softail models. [1]
Exact Model & Year Fitment
The specific hole configurations on the sides and top identify this as a 2000 to 2017 Softail fender, fitting: [1]
- FLSTC (Heritage Softail Classic)
- FLSTN (Softail Deluxe)
- FLST / FLSTI (Heritage Softail Standard) [1, 2]
Note on Frame Width Fitment: This fender fits the traditional 150mm rear tire frame profile used throughout most of the 2000–2017 Softail run. It will not fit models that feature the extra-wide 200mm rear tire factory swingarm setup, such as the 2006–2017 Fat Boy (FLSTF) or Softail Custom (FXSTC), which require a much wider fender radius.
Visual ID Markings & Factory Traits
Several structural markers visible in your photos verify this identity:
- The Wire Loom Clips: Look closely at the inner underside of the fender in your 5th photo. Those small, rectangular metal tabs spaced along the inside edge are factory-welded wire loom retention clips designed to secure your tail light and turn signal wiring harness up away from the rotating rear tire.
- Side Strut Hole Patterns: The three holes clustered closely together at the far lower edge of the flank (visible in photos 1 and 2) align directly with the structural chrome fender struts used on Heritage and Deluxe models.
- Top Component Holes: The single hole drilled directly down the center line of the top ridge (photo 3) is the mounting location for the solo seat retention nut or the passenger pillion bracket, while the rearward oval hole (photo 4) accommodates the factory tail light circuit baseplate.
