Aurora T-Jet 1963 Corvette Split-Window Butter Yellow & Bonus AFX Part Chassis
Item Details & Condition:
- Body: Vintage Aurora HO-scale 1963 Corvette Split-Window Sting Ray coupe in molded "butter yellow" plastic. The body is in solid vintage condition with no major cracks in the thin roof pillars. Includes original chrome bumpers. Shows light scuffs and minor wear from age and storage. Rear wheel wells are uncut.
- Corvette Chassis (T-Jet): Original Aurora Thunderjet 500 pancake motor chassis.
- Testing Notes: The Corvette chassis was tested using a 9-volt battery to the pickup shoes. The motor does run, but because it has been sitting in long-term storage, the gears are currently sticky and require a manual spin/assistance to get the wheels turning. It will need a standard cleaning, oiling, and tune-up to be fully track-ready.
- Bonus Extra Chassis: Includes an additional independent vintage Aurora A/FX (AFX) slot car chassis stamped "Made in Singapore" for parts or repair. This extra chassis is completely untested and its working condition is unknown.
