It was one of the original 16 Hot Wheels cars released in 1968.
The car was based on the "Car Craft Dream Rod" show car built by Bill Cushenbery.
It was originally intended to be named the "Cheetah," but the name was changed to Python.
copper/orange color variant with a black roof and redline tires have some real nice hot wheel redlines were selling off!
