1955 Blackinton 25 Yard Off Hand Shooting Medal Tuscarora Trail M. L. Comp Box

Up for sale is a beautifully preserved 1955 silver-tone marksmanship award from the Tuscarora Trail M. L. (Muzzle Loaders) club, complete with its original presentation box. This piece features a three-tier nickel/silver-plated brass assembly including a "1955" year plate, "25 Yard" distance bar, and an "Off Hand" stance bar suspended over a light blue and orange split-color ribbon.

The unique shield-shaped medallion is crowned by a high-relief American eagle with wide outstretched wings, standing guard over a detailed central cameo of a marksman taking aim with a rifle. The reverse side shows a smooth metallic finish with a crisp, authentic "BLACKINTON" maker's hallmark stamped near the lower center.

This historic piece is housed inside its complete original cream cardboard presentation box, which features a gold-trimmed clear cellophane window lid and a sharp, gold-imprinted "V.H. Blackinton & Co., Inc. Attleboro Falls, Mass." manufacturer emblem at the base. The ribbon weave is clean, the metal displays a gentle vintage patina, and the cellophane window remains perfectly intact.
