1903 HC White Stereoscope Viewer Lot & 71 Vintage Lithograph Stereoview Cards
Complete Antique Photography Starter Lot: Features an authentic H.C. White Co. "Perfecscope" Stereoviewer (Patented July 28, 1903) alongside a large 71-card collection of early 1900s narrative lithograph stereoviews.
The Viewer: Made in North Bennington, Vermont. Features a beautiful, engraved aluminum hood with floral detailing, original wood body, folding handle, and fully intact wire card holders. The focal tracking slider moves smoothly and the dual glass lenses are clear and uncracked. Needs a new tack for the viewer hood see photos.
The 71-Card Collection: Three major narrative story sets included:
The Life of Christ (25 Cards): Sequential religious set from birth to the resurrection.
The Marriage / Wedding Story (24 Cards): Melodramatic Victorian/Edwardian staging set tracking a couple from courtship to married life.
