1879 Electro Magnet Battery Make your own battery . Antique , Vintage . Quack Kit , Medical Doctor add disulfate or mercury, (says it can be bought at any drug store) not so sure about that now a days. Never seen anything like it before, chemical reaction makes a battery, has a contact breaker on coil, then guessing your fingers go in tubes..... great conversation piece!!!
