WW1 Marines Service Certificate Award Croix de Guerre 6th machine gun Military U.S Purple heart! 
Francis R. Pasho, U.S.M.C. (United States Marine Corps).

Pasho was born in Saranac Lake, NY in 1894 and served as a Marine staff sergeant in both World War I and World War II. He was wounded at Château-Thierry in 1918 and awarded the Purple Heart, then returned to uniform decades later for WWII.

After the wars, he returned home to the Adirondacks, working as a carpenter, raising a family, and remaining active in the American Legion and Odd Fellows.
