antique "B" power eliminator kit for a vacuum tube radio, manufactured by the Apco Manufacturing Co. in Providence, R.I.

It is a "B" Kit, designed to be assembled by the user in one hour.

The device supplied "B" power to any size radio set by plugging into a 120-volt, 60-cycle lamp socket.

The model number appears to be 3023.

It replaced the need for bulky and potentially dangerous "B" batteries in early radios.   SELLING BOX ONLY !  box is missing bottom.
