1935 Vtg Marx Tin Lithograph Windup Toy “Walking Popeye Sailor Parrot Cage Box!
We have for you this highly desirable tin, lithographed, windup “Walking Popeye” in box manufactured by Louis Marx & Company of New York City, New York.
When wound with his dedicated key Popeye walks forward carrying his parrot cages. In working condition but it takes a slight push to make him walk when on a surface. His mechanics work when holding him off the ground.
nice piece unrestored, restorations, This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories and wear that are to be expected from age and play. Great addition for any collector! selling like we found him! Old buddy turned 101 never sold anything, has been coming off some of his keepers.... (still changes his mind daily) been picking up some real gems!!! havent been on the market for at least 50 years!! has repo box. and original cardboard box we got it in.
