Material brass Length 9 inches Bowl - Conical Back handle marked "Geer Mfg. Co. Troy, N.Y. Front handle marked "Cone Clipper Pat. Oct. 16, 1906" "THE INNOVATIVE ERA" The first decade of the 20th Century was an important era of innovation and change for the country as well as the ice cream industry. There was a huge wave of immigration and with it came new ideas, changes and improvements. The ice cream cone was invented in 1904 and at least 32 ice cream dishers were patented this decade with a variety of different styles. Making 1900-1910 "The Innovative Era"! This disher is conical shaped making it rare and harder to find than the round dishers. Has a hole in handle for hanging, Would be a great display for the Soda jerk!!!
